WCAP Detailing Inc. ("WCAP Mobile Car Detailing Halifax", "we", "us") delivers fully mobile interior and exterior detailing throughout the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM). By booking through wcapdetailing.com, by phone, text, or email, you agree to the terms below.
1. Services & Booking
1.1 Mobile coverage
We are a Halifax-based team that travels to homes, workplaces, and approved parking areas across Halifax, Dartmouth, Bedford, and Sackville. Appointments slightly outside these core HRM communities may incur travel fees.
1.2 Packages & scope
Our current packages match those published on our Services page. Full detail appointments typically take 3–4 hours depending on vehicle size and condition. We do not perform mechanical repairs or bodywork.
1.3 Booking & Communications
Appointments are requested through our website, contact forms, or direct contact at (902) 536-3404. Automated confirmations and reminders are sent upon booking. By providing your contact information, you consent to receive service-related communications.
2. Cancellation & Rescheduling
Cancellations received with less than 24 hours' notice, or situations where we arrive and cannot access or start the vehicle, may be charged up to 100% of the scheduled service price. Weather-related postponements are rescheduled at no cost.
3. Payment & Pricing
Payment is due immediately after the service is completed. We accept credit/debit cards (processed securely via our payment partners), e-transfers to info@wcapdetailing.com, and cash. Rates follow the published package tiers; heavy contamination or oversized vehicles may require price adjustments with your approval.
4. On-Site Requirements
Our van is fully self-contained with its own water supply and power system, so no utilities are required from you. Please ensure there is adequate space to work around the vehicle, level ground where possible, and permission to work on the property (condos/workplaces). Remove all personal items and car seats before we arrive.
5. Vehicle Condition
Please disclose severe stains, pet hair, mold, or odors during booking. We strive for best results, but permanent defects (sun-faded paint, cracked clear coat, burns, or etched glass) are not reversible. We do not clean biohazards or infested vehicles.
6. Absolute Limitation of Liability
By booking and using our services, you expressly acknowledge and agree that WCAP Detailing Inc., its owners, employees, and contractors shall not be held liable for any damages of any kind.
- Zero Liability: We are absolutely never liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages to your vehicle, property, or person, under any legal theory.
- Vehicle Damage: We assume no responsibility for paint damage, interior damage, mechanical issues, electrical failures, or damage to aftermarket accessories. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, failing clear coat, or wear and tear.
- Engine Bay & Electronics: Cleaning of engine bays and electronics is performed strictly at your own risk. We are never liable for malfunctions that occur during or after our service.
- Personal Property: We are not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items left inside the vehicle.
- Maximum Liability: In the event any liability is imposed by a court, our maximum total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service.
7. Service Quality & Expectations
Let us know within 48 hours if we missed a spot. At our sole discretion, we may offer a touch-up. We do not offer refunds or financial compensation for services rendered.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nova Scotia, Canada. Any disputes will be handled in the provincial courts located in Nova Scotia.
